We will have change

I want to express my most sincere appreciation to all of the voters of District 3 for their support. They have truly spoken their will, and the message to the majority of the Board of Supervisors should be abundantly clear. They are on notice, by their constituents, that they’d better back away from their private agenda.

Hey Bruce and Peter! It’s not too late to have that “up or down” vote on NH2020.

When I win in November, I will look forward to a more collaborative BOS and less involvement by the special interest extreme enviro groups (Audubon Society, Sierra Club, RQC, SYRCL, SBC, and Yuba Nation) in our government and school affairs.

Both the 3rd and 4th District races will be critical to all of us in November. We will not have a change without regaining the majority’s majority on the BOS. Our task is great.

We know that the special interests will do everything in their power to keep their minority in power, so to all those who oppose them, the work has just begun and we must persevere. All citizens of all districts must bring their resources to the effort, knowing full well that our opposition will spare no amount of deception and determination. Nevada County is their rural county showcase – their zip code is 95959.

Did anyone notice that Izzy and Bruce had their party in District 1? What happened to their constituents’ financial interests? Perhaps it was because District 1 was the source of their financial support or was it just Nevada City?

In closing and most importantly, I’d like to thank my committee for their dedication to our effort, those who’ve donated their financial assistance, my friends for passing the word and, quite naturally, my wife for her patience and strength.

We will have change. A balance will be found. We have just begun.
