We should applaud police

In response to (letter writer, “Leave Tasers to others,” Feb. 8) concern of the Grass Valley Police Department using Tasers to apprehend law breakers in a nonlethal manner; she should educate herself to the duties of a police officer, such as the responsibility of enforcing the law and protecting citizens.

We all should applaud our police department for its dedication and selflessness at the risk of their own lives to keep our community safe.

Be thankful someone is looking out for you, (letter writer).
