We have the right to disagree with our government

Somehow I find myself increasingly discouraged with the current regime in the White House. Is it just my paranoia, or are some of the statements made by George Dubya extremely arrogant and provocative?

The idea of going to war over oil reserves is not very appealing. The bigger issue, of course, is terrorists running around with nuclear bombs, but is it really? Georgie says that if I’m not with him, I’m against him.

Well, I’ll tell you, I’m an honest, hard- working, tax-paying good ol’ boy, and I’m not with you, George. This country is seemingly coming into more and more of a police state. Where is my freedom or your freedom? I would encourage people to act out in civil disobedience if you do not agree with the current policies of our government. After all, this is a democracy isn’t it?

What if people didn’t pay their taxes this year? Call your Congress people; call the White House. March in the street, if need be.
