Wasted talents

Does anyone remember the movie “Wag The Dog”? It was an artful and interesting movie about a completely fabricated story that was done so well that those who produced it even came to believe it was true.

A true documentary is, by definition, a factual dramatization. Michael Moore already had his conclusion, his bias and his admitted wish to see George Bush defeated. He carefully parsed footage, clips, humor and quotations as a means to his end and his movie may entertain and provoke, but does any rational person think Moore a sincere seeker of truth? If you hold the same bias, certainly you also love his films and books.

Mr. Moore’s talents are wasted and he feeds on the anger and bitterness that consumes many liberals. Be careful in singing his praises because the left is being hijacked by people like Moore, Whoopi Goldberg and Ted Rall. Are you sure you want to be pitching your tent in that camp?

As for the criticism that one must see the movie before judging it … Limbaugh, O’Reilly, Hannity and Fox are routinely lambasted by people who don’t listen, watch or read, so give it up already.
