Votes may be cast early at Elections Office

Nevada County’s registered voters can cast their votes for the March 5 primary election at the Elections Office until election day.

Voters who don’t want to mail an absentee ballot or can’t make it to the polls on election day can vote at the office during business hours. Two booths are in the lobby so residents can vote in private.

Voters must provide their name and address, and are asked to bring their Sample Ballot Booklet to speed the process. The office is at 10433 Willow Valley Road in Nevada City.

For more information, contact the Elections Office at 265-1298 or toll-free from Truckee and Lake of the Pines at 1-888-395-1298.
