Vote with your keyboard

I too received the same unsolicited e-mail from Calvin Clark referred to in The Union’s Letters to the Editor on July 23. I, too, found his message offensive, racist, and sexist. My response was simple. I replied to the message with Remove Me From Your List as the subject line. I’ve never met Mr. Clark or Rene Antonson, but the first impression wasn’t a good one.

If we all voted with our keyboards to this kind of filth, the sender’s audience would dwindle to the degree that he had no audience. I don’t live in the 4th District but if I did I know where my vote would be! Robin Sutherland seems to be the only candidate running that is willing to listen to the constituency.

Incidentally, keep a copy of your reply message when you e-mail it. If another e-mail shows up from the same sender, you can contact your Internet Service Provider and have the sender’s address labeled as a Known Spam Site.
