Vote for ‘A’ winner to fund high schools

A “yes” vote on Measure A is a tightly focused and highly effective decision that contains very substantial benefits for Nevada Union, Bear River and Grass Valley/Sierra Foothill high schools.

Not only do we get a lot of bang for our buck at $10 per $100,000 of assessed valuation of property, we will also be able to apply for state education matching grants of an additional $8 million. This is money that is going to go to some school district. Why not us?

Voting yes on “A” is a smart vote, as well as simply the right thing to do.
