V-Day panel to meet on Saturday

The V-Day Nevada County committee will hold its second workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday in Grass Valley to prepare for the 2003 V-Day Worldwide Campaign.

The meeting is open to women and men.

In February, a benefit performance of “The Vagina Monologues” in Nevada City raised more than $5,500 for student scholarships awarded by the Silver Springs Foundation.

Saturday’s workshop will be at Silver Springs High School, 12338 McCourtney Road.

Call 265-8648 or e-mail andmuz@concentric.net for more information.
