Unnecessary tragedies on 49

I am in total agreement with Sean O’Brien. Within the last three weeks on our way to Sacramento we have seen three patrol cars just past Lime Kiln off to the left and two weeks later off to the right, gabbing. Since when does it take three patrol cars to monitor one small area?

Also the rumble strip is surely a Band-Aid, we need the bypass on Allison Ranch Road. If you widen 49 or the patch job, what about all the senior parks and homes along 49, does anyone care, you let the contractors in, that brings more people, why not make them provide the roads to accommodate and the schools?

The tragedies on 49 are so unnecessary and can be prevented if there is caring, concern and a little common sense used in the future planning of 49 not the money. Widening 49 is not the answer nor the rumble strip or concrete barrier, we need a bypass (new road) from Combie to McKnight. This should be a priority along with Dorsey. If we had the bypass, we wouldn’t be in dire need of Dorsey. Lets put the monies where it belongs.
