Turkey feed benefits nonprofit groups

The third annual Mountain Turkey Feed to benefit the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Coalition and Child Advocates of Nevada County will begin at noon Nov. 3 at the Nevada County Fairgrounds.

The event will feature live music, raffles, an auction and a free turkey dinner for people who bring canned food or a new toy. Visitors will also have an opportunity to have their picture taken with Santa Claus on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Sponsored by Grandfathers Motorcycle Club of Northern California, the event is at the Senior Center at the fairgrounds.
