Tree of Love service Dec. 5

On Dec. 5, Friends of Hospice will hold the 17th annual “Tree of Love” Lighting Ceremony, directly after a memorial service at 6 p.m. at Sierra Presbyterian Church, 175 Ridge Road, Nevada City.

Immediately following the “Tree of Love” Lighting Ceremony, a reception will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall at Sierra Presbyterian Church. Hot cider, appetizers, desserts and seasonal music will be offered.

Each light on the “Tree of Love” is a symbol of remembrance for loved ones from Christmases past or to honor friends and family this Christmas.
