Nevada County Travel Club is enjoying our Indian Summer with three more themed tours: Join us!

Nov. 13: Hilmar Dairy’s Annual Holiday Open House, Ghiradelli and Blue Diamond outlets. Lunch and dinner, round trip coach and gratuities. 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (Just previewed this tour and attest to the “mmmm” value.)

Dec. 9 and 10: Holiday shopping and preparations in Reno. Travel mid-days to avoid inclement weather. Round trip coach, Nugget overnight with buffet dinner, Nothing To It Demonstration Kitchen and retail therapy at Nothing To It, Scheels and Legends Outlet Mall.

Dec. 30: Cirque Dreams Holidaze, Sacramento Broadway matinee in orchestra seating. Celebration three-course dinner at Latitudes. Happy New Year!

Oct. 29: Pizza meeting, Mountain Mike’s. 11:30 a.m.

Nov. 8: Thanksgiving potluck, Veterans Building. Club furnishes turkey, gravy and rolls. A-H bring dessert, I-P bring starchy side dish (potatoes, dressing, etc.), R-Z bring vegetable. Don’t forget to bring serving utensil and your own table service. Meeting at noon, food served at 12:30 p.m.

Nov. 15-22: Nashville. Fly to Kansas City, motorcoach to Branson for three nights, Memphis for one night (includes tour of Graceland), three nights at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville. Many sightseeing excursions and shows included as well as most meals. Fly home from Nashville. Call for details.

Jan. 19-21, 2011: Winter Wonderland trip to Yosemite. Includes two nights at Tenaya Lodge, two breakfasts and one gourmet dinner. Guided tour of the Ahwanee Hotel and lunch. Tour of Yosemite Valley. Evening at Chukchansi Casino.

Feb. 13: Beach Blanket Babylon, San Francisco. Center balcony seats. No host lunch at local restaurant.

April 4-10: Southern California. Travel by motorcoach. Includes two-night stay at Holiday Inn in Anaheim; one day pass to Disneyland and California Adventure Park.
