March 26: Pizza meeting, 11:30 a.m., Mountain Mike’s.

April 12: Potluck at Veterans Building, noon. A-H hot dish, I-P dessert, R-Z salad/veggies. Be sure to bring your own table service and serving utensil. Don’t forget to put your name on dishes.

April 20-21: Shake, Rattle & Roll, Best Hits of the 50’s. Includes hotel accommodations, show, dinner and breakfast coupons. 10 Park and Ride, 10:30 SPD.

April 30: Pizza meeting, 11:30 a.m., Mountain Mike’s

June 27: Sunday Brunch at the Grand Island Mansion in Walnut Grove. Choice of three entrees. Tour of the mansion and brunch included. Stop at Old City Cemetery in Sacramento on the way home. Last stop will be at Vic’s Ice Cream before heading home.

July 22: Squaw Valley and Ice Lakes Lodge. Tram to top of mountain (no host lunch). Enjoy dessert and coffee at Ice Lakes Lodge on Serene Lake. Cost of tram, dessert and coffee included. 8 Park and Ride, 8:30 SPD.

Aug. 25: Peter Pan at the ThreeSixty Theatre in San Francisco. Play is direct from London. Lunch before the afternoon matinee is included.

Sept. 19-29: Alaska Cruise from San Francisco aboard the “Sea Princess.” Visit Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and Victoria B.C. plus scenic cruising of Tracy Arm Fjord.

Sept. 29-Oct. 9: 11 day cruise to Mexican Rivera and California coast aboard the “Sea Princess.” Sails from San Francisco, visiting Catalina Island, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas and San Diego. Great prices!

Oct. 21: “Suds,” Cosmopolitan Cabaret in Sacramento. Afternoon matinee includes lunch.

Nov. 15-22: Nashville. Fly to Kansas City, motorcoach to Branson for three nights, Memphis for one night (includes tour of Graceland), three nights at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville. Many sightseeing excursions and shows included as well as most meals. Fly home from Nashville. Call for details.

Nevada County Travel Club

The following Nevada County Travel Club tours are available to reserve during the month of March.

April 21: African Safari – no passport needed. Round-trip coach tour to SafariWest on the Sonoma Serengeti, private exotic animal presentation by Bonnie Cromwell, ranch barbecue lunch served in the Savannah Dining Hall, and safari in authentic African jeeps. Free time to walk the compound, shop at the marketplace.

May 10-21: 11 day Ultimate Alaska cruise aboard the Celebrity Infinity sailing under the Golden Gate from San Francisco. Return to Vancouver, B.C. – passport necessary. Ports of call include: Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Icy Strait Point, Sitka and Victoria, B.C. Cruise the Inside Passage and Hubbard Glacier. Great cruise prices. Airport and pier shuttles and flight return to Sacramento will be coordinated at added expense.

May 20: Broadway Sacramento Performance of A Chorus Line. Round-trip coach to Sacramento, orchestra seating at matinee performance.

July 22: Lake Tahoe Tour – by land and by “sea.” Full day tour around Lake Tahoe with museum stops, lunch tour on the Dixie Queen, dinner at Monte Vista Lodge.
