Nevada County Travel Club

Nevada County Travel Club (NCTC) invites you to our general meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 10 to hear about Extraterrestrial Travel as guided by Dr. John Billingham, former NASA Researcher and Founder of SETI. An RSVP is necessary; call Pat at (530) 274-9565. Three-course lunch is served for $10 per person and begins at 12:30 p.m.

NCTC offers members, family, friends and you a variety of destinations, tour lengths and types of transportation monthly. Most tour prices are all-inclusive of transportation, meals, entrances and tours, and gratuities. The following are available with a phone call to reserve to our Tour Director:

Feb. 18: King Tut or Disney Family Museum in San Francisco, box lunch, and sweet stop at Jelly Belly factory. 6:45 a.m. to 6 p.m.

April 15: Matinee performance, “Little House on the Prairie, The Musical,” orchestra seating. 12:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

May 20: Matinee of “A Chorus Line,” orchestra seating. 12:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

May 10-21: Cruise the ultimate Alaskan itinerary with Celebrity Cruises from San Francisco to Vancouver, British Columbia, calling at six Alaskan and Victoria ports. Deposit date has been extended to Feb. 8. Phone ASAP for low, contracted prices.

Sept. 27-Oct. 3: Discover North Dakota and Norsk Hostfest. Round trip air to Minneapolis. Coach tour of Scandinavian areas of interest and the largest Norwegian-American event in the world.

Nov. 15-22: Nashville. Fly to Kansas City, Motorcoach to Branson for three nights, Memphis for one night (includes tour of Graceland), three nights at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville. Many sightseeing excursions and shows included as well as most meals. Fly home from Nashville. Call for details.
