The Community Assessment Project and League of Women Voters of Western Nevada County presents its second in a series of issues forums, at 7 p.m. and ending before 9:30 p.m. Monday at Miners Foundry Cultural Center in Nevada City.




The public is invited to voice concerns about quality-of-life issues in the county and share ideas about how to improve neighborhoods and the community.

Issues to be covered are housing, educational/vocational training, wages and work opportunities, transportation, air quality, social and recreational programs, family violence, substance abuse and health services availability. Refreshments will be served.
