Time, money workshops offered

Time and money are the topics of two consecutive presentations sponsored by the Sierra Nevada Wellness Center June 16 and 30. Local training consultant and presenter Terri Bianco will deliver the two-hour presentations beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Sierra Nevada Hospital Outpatient Center Conference Rooms. Cost is $20 per workshop or $35 for both.

“Managing Time, Nurturing Self” scheduled June 16 examines the culture and beliefs about the use of time. Participants will look at behaviors and attitudes about money and discover methods to effectively manage time while placing a higher priority on the self.

“Alleviating the Angst About Money” on June 30, shows how money’s impact on life is ultimately a mirror of core values. Promising to provide methods to befriend one’s wealth and well-being, the presentation dispels myths about money and improves one’s relationship to it.

“It’s common practice to say we don’t have time and we never have enough money,” says Bianco. “Yet a lot of that is perception, individually or collectively. We all have the same amount of time, and we often forget that we are the ones who invented money. We own it, it doesn’t own us,” she claims.

Bianco is a consultant who designs and delivers professional training in leadership, management, and communications. A national presenter and published author, Bianco is president of TBEnterprises in Nevada City. Pre-registration is required at 274-6824.
