Three truths

Words of wisdom from a moral leader to politicians and voters:

“There are three non-negotiable principles which are not only truths of faith, but are inscribed in human nature, therefore common to all humanity:

1. “Protection of life in all its stages – from the first moment of conception until natural death.” That means that all artificial birth control (including abortion) and euthanasia are morally wrong.

2. “Recognition and promotion of the natural structure of the family as a union between a man and a woman based on marriage. The family is the primary unit in society, because married couples ensure the succession of generations.” This principle rejects the concept of “same-sex marriage” which is sterile by its nature. History shows that nations commit suicide by opening their culture to sexual immorality.

3. “Protection of the rights of parents to educate their children.” Pope Benedict reminds us here that parents must have a right to choose home-schools or religious private schools if public schools do not provide religious freedom for their children.
