Think about fire vote

I do respect fire departments, personnel, volunteers for their jobs and services they provide to everyone.

I’m still at odds with the ballot and assessment to parcel owners. The assessment to parcel owners and the fact that the base rate can change yearly anywhere from 0 to 3 percent, and that is depending on inflation and the vote of five out of seven NCCFD board of directors at a regular meeting.

If this vote is passed, remember, up to 3 percent increase possibly on a yearly base and indefinitely, with no more vote by parcel owners. Also, keep in mind the vote counted is weighed depending on parcel usage. Maybe undeveloped parcel less than a vote, resident one vote, commercial one to three votes?

Now the ballot. All the required information is on it and needed for the vote. Information and the signatures. It seems this is needed for assessments like this and 218 (Prop.) has a lot to do with this type of vote and ballot. Well, could this type of process be a baby step to change our voting, secrecy freedoms of the future in all elections, and just what might happen?
