The term "property rights" has universal appeal

The term “property rights” has universal appeal, but those candidates who run under that banner are really calling for exploitation rights. They wish to be unhindered in their determination to chop and hew and pave and build without restriction or regard for the land, the environment or for the community.

Exploitation rights advocates have given us Roseville and the many similarly devastated towns in California. Let’s keep the big-box stores at bay; let’s vote for Izzy Martin and Bruce Conklin, the candidates who care the most for the land and the community. They are the true citizens’ rights advocates.
