The Demo parade

Parades are fun, inspirational and are considered an institution by many citizens. The Democratic parade is not inspiration and insults a grand old party.

Sen. Barbara Boxer, Rep. Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Ted Kennedy are a few of the extreme elements of the “Rant and Rave Demo Parade.” They speak of diplomacy but are not diplomatic. They speak of compromise but “draw lines in the sand.”

They offer no solutions and are insulting to those who offer alternatives. They are good at personal attacks which are divisive and above all their assumptions concerning our president are rather arrogant.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein and Sen. Joe Lieberman are a bit more reasonable, and Hillary Clinton seems to be moving to the center on some political views.

Perhaps all congressional leaders should attempt to “cool it.” They might even pass some good legislation that both parties would agree on. Insulting personal attacks are a good excuse to do nothing.
