That which we give, we receive

If I were president, I would be kind, I would listen, I would always seek the greatest good, I would seek to understand, to be and become the best friend to all that I could be.

For the wisdom passed throughout time by those who have come before has taught us that, that which we give, we receive. If I treat you, my neighbor, with the glad kindness that I do, for the joy and feel in so doing, in time, my extension of kindness transcends and bathes away, ever so gently, every misdeed ever done to me. As I extend this growing well-being of kindness to all, to all shall grow the certain safety that we all are so blessed to live with and amongst one another, and, in time, all will grow to appreciate our mutual inter-dependence and many will lend a hand, the hand up to those coming along, and none will come up short or be left behind.

And be glad of this, for within us all is a precedent for leadership, for the joy of being with one another.
