Teflon-coated president needs to find right idea

The Bush administration shifts focus almost daily as to the reason why the U.S. should attack Iraq and Saddam Hussein. One day the administration is demonizing Saddam and saying he is an imminent threat to America. The next day there is a connection between Hussein and al-Qaeda. Then the Bush fear forces pitch the chance of nuclear, biological and chemical weapons coming down our chimneys. Conjecture and hearsay, all of it. Do all wars get promoted this way?

Our Teflon-coated president can’t quite find the right marketable idea that sticks and entices the American public’s mind.
