Suppose they held a war

rally and told the truth…

Suppose they held a war rally, and they told the truth about why people turn to war; that it is because people have chosen not to communicate truthfully, or at all. Or it’s because people put their own selfish wants above the good of all.

Suppose they held a war rally and told the truth about why people turn to war; that it is because some people want to be in control, or maintain control, or get control – of land, of oil, of other people. Or it’s because some people don’t know that controlling is addictive and demands more and more control.

Suppose they held a war rally and told the truth about why people turn to war; that it is because business interests continually demand more money and more control of more people by fewer people. Or that business interests matter more than people. That it is a simple matter of greed.

Suppose they held a war rally and told the truth about why people turn to war; that it is because we refuse to force business to make environmentally good vehicles, and therefore we rely on oil supplies which will mostly be gone in 20 to 30 years.

Suppose they held a war rally and told the truth about war; how old people send young people to suffer and die. Or that most of the “leaders” are comfortable about war because they have never experienced it.

Suppose they held a war rally and told the truth about war; how people die painful, horrible deaths or suffer even more painful wounds to the body and to the soul which will never be healed. Or how one has to dehumanize one’s self in order to survive the battlefield.

Suppose they held a war rally – and no one came.
