Successful event

On behalf of all the volunteers at Wildlife Rehabilitation & Release, I would like to extend our sincere appreciation to The Union for helping us to get the word out about our annual wildlife training. Our event was a major success. There were more than 100 community members who responded to our call for help and need for wildlife volunteers. This was largely a result of our ad in The Union. We are a small nonprofit organization dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of injured and orphaned wildlife. Each year, we survive on shoe-string budget. If it were not for the sponsorship assistance we received from The Union’s Community Relations Coordinator Sharla Cartzdafner, the Marketing Committee, and advertising consultant Melba Brown, we would not have had the successful response that we did.

Hats off to The Union for reaching out to local nonprofits with a helping hand, and in turn, helping all of us to make our community a better place!
