Students should register for ACT

College-bound high school students should register for the American College Test by Aug. 23.

The ACT assessment, required for many college admissions, will be administered Sept. 28. The four-section test – English, reading, math and science – measures academic achievement, not aptitude.

Students can get registration packets from their high school counselors or register online at http://www.act.org.

Registration forms must be postmarked no later than Aug. 23.
