Deborah Jordan took a bold and loving step as she publicly forgave her assailant and Dixie Redfearn expertly reported the events. Is it possible, however, that there are three other people personally and directly responsible for this crime? The father who turned on his son who in turn sold meth to a 13-year-old Jacob Hill, and then, the most reprehensible, the doctor who prescribed medication that enhanced a sick mind and created this awful crime? Can the arm of the law go beyond the actions of Hill? It is time to take a deeper look at situations like this so future events can be prevented.
