Stop killing wildlife

When are we humans ever going to stop killing the animals that are indigenous to our area? They were here first. Humans just keep moving up to this area, crowding out the animals. Soon they will have nowhere to go but inside your living room, eating your bag of flour.

I see dead deer, turkeys, squirrels, and all kinds of wildlife that did not make it across the road. People drive too fast in our area and will just not slow down.

When people from down below move into the wooded areas of our state, they know they are moving where wildlife lives. There should be a mandatory class for these flatlanders to attend when they first move here about the knowledge of the animals in their surroundings and their behavior and how to respond when an encounter occurs.

The last couple of articles in The Union describing how these bears died just brought me to tears. Patrol cars should all carry dart guns to stun and sedate the animals until Fish and Game arrives to take over. Please, let’s do not keep killing our precious wildlife – isn’t that what we moved up here for?
