Stevens no longer a villain

The Union has really changed its tune regarding Mayor Linda Stevens’ request for a meal allowance on a trip for the city of Grass Valley to the United Kingdom. Your initial front-page article made her out to be just short of a villain for even considering such a request, and now you have come to your senses and stated, well, you kind of think it could be viewed as reasonable? Of course it was a reasonable request. Do you realize how much that one elected official does for the good of Grass Valley and how little they are compensated? I think requesting a meal allowance was more than reasonable.
