Stand up against police state

Americans must not stand by silently while a massive consolidation of federal police power takes shape. Our representative may have reservations about this move towards a police state, but if there is no voice of opposition from his constituency he will hang his hat with the CFR Insiders. A version of the Homeland Security Department (H.S.D.) passed the House in July, and the Senate will begin “debate” right after Labor Day.

The H.S.D. is not a response to the 9/11 attacks; instead, it follows a blueprint that was prepared by power-hungry elitists and presented to President Bush prior to last Sept. 11. Even before the proposed H.S.D. legislation is approved, advocates of a nationalized law enforcement body are planning to bring local police under federal control.

On Oct. 11, 2001, Sen. Joseph Lieberman, D-Conn., introduced Senate Bill 1534, which would mandate control over local “first responders” – meaning police, firemen, and emergency personnel. Clearly, this bill and the H.S.D. represent only an intermediate step toward the ultimate Insider goal of creating an American Gestapo or KGB.

Prior to 1975, we had a constitutionally sound security system structured around state and local police agencies, and assisted by the FBI and several congressional and state investigating committees. That system was destroyed by a network of radical activists – aka Lenin’s useful idiots. We need to reinstate those committees. Write Congress today.
