Stahler to speak on global warming

The public is invited for free to hear Alan Stahler speak about global warming, climate change and the implications for California.

The talk will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Unitarian Universalist Community of the Mountains, 246 S. Church St. (at Walsh), Grass Valley. Refreshments will be provided.

Stahler is a science educator and environmental advocate in Nevada County, as well as a long-time KVMR broadcaster and regular science columnist for The Union. He also organizes and conducts the monthly astronomy Sky Watches in Nevada City.
