Spirit of the games

As a long time coach and official, I was glad to read the articles about the incident during the Bear River rec basketball game. As someone who witnessed the incident, I hope that when people read the articles that they step back and remember why everyone is there. It is so kids can have the opportunity to learn and play in a safe place. And if adults can remember that, in the end, for most kids, the biggest thing they remember is the snack they get at the end of the game. And no matter who wins or loses, they run to talk to their friends even if they play on different teams. Thank you, Brian.
