Some people are so suspicious

I just think it’s so mean, how those liberal environmentalists are picking on President Bush for his new policy that helps save our forests through logging. Well, sure, he’s going to let them cut down bigger trees, like 30 inches across instead of 20 inches, and sure, some of those are 100 or 200 years old, but it’s important to think the forest to prevent wildfires.

Well, sure maybe those older, taller trees are the most fire-resistant, actually, and help prevent fires by keeping the forests shadier and cooler, but they’re really valuable to those nice friends of President Bush in the timber industries, and they need to make a living, right? Well, sure, maybe they’re already really, really rich, but our president wouldn’t deceive us and sell out our forests and our environment just to help his rich friends, would he? Some people are so darned suspicious.
