Some movies fill kids’ minds with deadly junk

As I stood in line for movie tickets, I watched a mother and two young girls about 12 years old purchase tickets for “8 Mile.” I wondered if the mother had a clue what she was exposing her girls to? I understand it’s a well-done formula movie. Eminem’s music, on the other hand, is below X rating. He fantasizes killing his mother, raping his sister, etc.

Imagine feeding a child’s physical body with junk food daily? This is feeding them junk for the mind. Feeding junk to the spirit. What kind of person would fail to protect these young souls?

Unfortunately, we have movies that packaged really well, but the words from the music pour into the unconscious. Like packaging a candy bar with poison! Looks good, tastes good… but then young people are infallible, right? This will just bounce right off of their little psyches, right?
