Solution offered for a lack of parking space

Ever try to park at the Rood Center on Tuesday or any other day? No parking. Ever try to park around the county courthouse in Nevada City? No parking.

Where, oh where, does the parking go? Could it be that the parking is taken by the county employees? And the more the county grows, the more employees are looking for parking!

This might be a hairbrained plan, but I am running it by the public anyway: Does anyone recall the extra land at the Rood Center that some group wanted for a field for sports? Did we do anything with it? If not, could we create a county employee parking lot? Everyone could bus to where they work.

Of course, the county government would have to balance the inconvenience to the county employees with the fact that the residents of Nevada County would then be assured of parking at their government center.
