Snowshoe trip aides

The Silver Springs High School Outdoor Adventure Class thanks Doe Grady at the NSJ Headstart program, Elly Boer, Jennifer Rain Crosby, Shanyn E. Baquera, Tomi Corbett and Kaye Conners who loaned us baby carriers for our recent snowshoe trip. Also thanks to Mountain Recreation and Wolf Creek Wilderness for equipment. More than five local businesses and half a dozen caring individuals all said “yes!” to the recreation needs of some of Nevada County’s young mothers and babies. Here’s to many more such collaborations for the benefit of our community. With gratitude,

Janice Jacobson, Mountain Rose Adventures
