How bizarre to read the comment by Robin Sutherland’s campaign manager (The Union, Oct. 12) that the Sacramento News and Review is an “alternative newspaper designed for folks that are interested in pornography and methamphetamine . . .” We read the Sacramento News and Review for reviews of local social and political issues, as well as for entertainment events, and find it to be informative and balanced, as in the article about Izzy Martin.
