Smoke screen

I want to thank The Union staff for the editorial in the Jan. 29 edition concerning the forced departure of Sierra College President Kevin Ramirez. Unfortunately I believe the only explanation you’re likely to get from Trustee Klein will be a smoke screen to cover up a political agenda.

I have met many of the employees of Sierra College. They are dedicated, hard working people, proud of the job they’re doing. I hope the introduction of dirty politics to Sierra College doesn’t change their attitudes.
