Shocked at rapid growth

I grew up in Grass Valley/Nevada City area and left in the early 1980s

I have returned to visit a few times in the last few years and am shocked at the growth!

I think I ran about three stop signs that didn’t exist before, across from the Nevada Union High there used to be a just a small church. Now it has a large housing tract.

Isn’t it about time Nevada County start thinking about a slow-growth initiative?

If not Grass Valley and Nevada City will soon be a suburb of Sacramento!!
