Shocked at levity on perfume spray

I have been a faithful reader of Vivian Herron’s column for quite a while, but Feb. 7 may be my last. I was shocked by the levity with which the spritzing of perfume was described.

We do buy our food at the grocery store, don’t we? Also, a lot of people, including myself, are allergic to perfume. I do not begrudge anyone the use of it, as I know my family and friends all enjoy using perfume. But I do think that the grocery store is not exactly the place to spray it around. Does anyone agree?
