Writer No. 1 suggests that the “hot heads” put their family members on the front lines. Writer No. 2 responds that if war is what it takes to make peace, then so be it. They suggest that Writer No. 1 talk to a soldier or the family of a soldier.

Good idea. Talk to me (Writer No. 3). I’m a soldier’s mom. I can’t speak for my son, but I’ll be glad to tell you what I think: Dick and George are kicking the litter right out of the box. Contrary to Writer No. 2, this mama doesn’t want to see her son sacrificed just to save Private Enron.
