SHARON DOWNER

Sharon Downer died Aug. 18 in Grass Valley. She was 69.

Services will be held at at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, at Chapel of the Angels Mortuary in Grass Valley. A reception will follow.

Mrs. Downer was born Dec. 1, 1938, in Syracuse, N.Y., to Richard Olney and Betty Baxter. She was a homemaker, and was married to Lee Downer for more than 30 years.



Mrs. Downer is survived by her father, Richard Olney of San Diego; brother, Nathan Olney of San Diego; daughter, Stephanie Downer of Grass Valley; son, Daryl Valley of Las Vegas, Nev.; grandson, Dean Valley of Grass Valley; granddaughters Paula Valley of Grass Valley and Ashley Valley of Las Vegas, Nev.; great-grandson Jordan Cornett of Las Vegas, Nev., and great-granddaughter Scarlett Cornett of Las Vegas, Nev.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Downer, and son, Randall Valley.




Memorial contributions may be made to Order of the Eastern Star or Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
