Shame on the judges |

Shame on the judges

After reading the article in The Union Friday about the arrest history of the man who killed the UPS driver, it is abundantly clear that the courts are entirely too lenient with drug abusers.

What are these judges thinking? Probation and a warning not to use drugs? What a novel idea! Do you know how many more people are walking (and driving) around just like him? It’s time to get tougher with these people who do nothing for the community but put people’s lives at risk and milk the system.

Career drug abusers – ones’ who will drive while intoxicated, steal to support their habit, and obtain welfare because they’re not capable of working – need to be in prison. Get them out of the community! Shame on the judges who let them walk the streets!
