Mary Schreiber and Robert Rothenberger, both of Grass Valley, were married July 28.

The bride, a graduate of Sierra Mountain High School, is the daughter of Judy Schreiber and stepfather Bob Harris of Browns Valley. She is a homemaker.

The groom, a Nevada Union High School graduate, is the son of Pat Hopkins and Jim Rothenberger, both of Grass Valley. He is a captain at the Ophir Hill Fire Department.

The maid of honor was Jeni Pyzer of Nevada City.

The flower girl was the daughter of the bride and groom, Hannah Rothenberger.

The best man was Artie Schreiber of Browns Valley.

The bride and groom wore matching baseball pants and cleats, but different jerseys. The bride wore the home jersey of Atlanta Braves pitcher Greg Maddux, and the groom wore the jersey of Sean Green of the L.A. Dodgers.

The bride was given away by her stepfather.

Family and friends attended a reception at the couple’s home on Aug. 10.

Special guests included the groom’s grandparents from Idaho and family members from Shasta.

The couple honeymooned in Reno.

They live in Grass Valley.
