Randy Jan Scheler and Harold Talcott May of Nevada City were married on Oct. 6 at their home.

The outdoor ceremony was officiated by Dev Noily of San Francisco and Jay Egan of Grass Valley. Forty guests attended the wedding and reception.

The bride is the daughter of Phyllis and Lionel Scheler of Brooklyn, N. Y.

The groom is the son of Peggy and Gerald May of Dennis, Mass.

The bride wore a 1940’s cream-colored silk and lace gown, and carried a bouquet of white, green, yellow and lavender flowers.

The groom wore a 1940’s brown gaberdine suit with a J. Garcia tie.

Music for the ceremony and reception was provided by good friends, all from Sonoma County.

The wedding cake, decorated with fresh flowers, was created by Valentines by Barbara in Grass Valley.

The couple honeymooned in Oregon.
