Scary convention

I objectively watched the Kerry Convention with great interest. I watched CNN and Fox for comparative purposes, as well.

Former Clinton adviser and Fox contributor Dick Morris was interviewed and referred to the staged “Kerry the war hero” dialogue. He said the Dem agenda was to take to debate to pre-9/11, but in closing he said that “the whole election outcome is being defined by al-Qaida.” That comment gave me pause (Spanish election outcome following the train bombings).

If I were the terrorists, I’d bet that Kerry would be soft and least restrictive in my effort to destroy the U.S.A.

I think the “hero” approach is a lame ploy by the Dems. Even the liberal commentators admitted that 9/10 conventioneers are hard-core Bush/war haters who submitted to a “reduced rhetoric” convention for strategy purposes only. Our enemies would perceive a Kerry victory as their own. Their objectives will remain firm; ours would falter.

I think the Kerry organization recognizes this. They’re concerned that the public will quickly come to recognize it as well; thus, we have our socialist/progressive friends pretending to be wingless “hawks.” That was one scary convention.
