Rutherford-Jenkins

Lisa Lynn Rutherford and Eric Allphin Jenkins, both of Yuba City, were married March 29 at the Oakland Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The ceremony was conducted by the temple officiator.

The bride is the daughter of John and Maryann Rutherford of Grass Valley and Tracy and Michael Ames of Smartville. She is a 1999 Nevada Union High School graduate and 2001 Yuba College graduate. She works at Orchard Supply Hardware and in the Yuba College Foundation/Grants office.

The bridegroom is the son of Mary and Scott Petersen and Mike and Vanessa Jenkins, all of Yuba City. He is a graduate of Yuba City High School and attends Yuba College as a music major. He works at Bel Air Market.



The groom served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Des Moines, Iowa; Peoria, Ill., and St. Louis.

The bridesmaids were Sabrina Remund and the bride’s sister-in-law, Andrea Jensen, both of Yuba City.




The groomsmen were Brett George and James Hall, both of Yuba City.

Friends and family attended the ceremony in Oakland and the reception in Yuba City the following day.

The couple honeymooned in Santa Cruz.

They live in Yuba City.
