Senior peer counselors

Share your wealth of life experiences with a fellow senior who is dealing with daily challenges during difficult times, such as the loss of a loved one. Training and support is provided.



Preschool assistance

End of the school year assistance is needed at a local preschool. Help is needed with gardening, simple woodworking, sewing, arts and crafts and much more.




Editor

An editor is needed to review submitted articles and produce a monthly newsletter.

Friendly visitor

Gentlemen who would enjoy sharing time and a walk with a new friend are needed in downtown Grass Valley and the Ridge Road area.

Escort

Escorts are needed to assist convalescent home residents while they are traveling by bus to appointments and on shopping trips.

Receptionist

A volunteer who enjoys greeting the public is needed Monday afternoons to answer phones and do general office work at a busy office in the Lake of the Pines area.

H.O.P.E. (Help Other People Eat)

The newest thrift store in our area is looking for friendly artistic sales associates. Funds generated by this store will go toward the purchase of a permanent home for the Food Bank of Nevada County.
