Penn Valley thrift store needs volunteers to help at the store and someone to check out electric appliances.

Flea market

Volunteers are needed to help with a wide variety of tasks at an upcoming flea market. It promises to be a very busy day and you could be the first one to see the great buys.

Book delivery person

Help move books and other items between the many branches of the Nevada County Library. Volunteers will drive a county van and will need a valid California Drivers License, proof of auto insurance and the ability to lift 30 pounds. Volunteer shelf readers are also needed.

Recording secretary

Take written notes based on discussion and tape recordings. Transcribe notes and save them to a computer disc.

Travel specialist

Help is needed developing a travel program, creating trips, and generating a core group of travelers.
