ROP students host dog-walking benefit

Students in 49er ROP animal and veterinary classes will be host to the annual “Strut Your Mutt” dog walk to benefit AnimalSave from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Lions Lake, Gate 4, Nevada County Fairgrounds.

A contest at noon twill determine which dog is the largest, the smallest, has the longest tail and is the best-dressed. Local folk singer Utah Phillips will be the judge and award prizes.
