Robinson-Currier

Donna Sue Robinson and Mark James Currier, both of Nevada City, were married Oct. 26 at Sierra Presbyterian Church. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. Tom Patterson.

The bride is a graduate of University of California at Los Angeles with a master’s degree in educational psychology. She is the director of Twin Ridges Elementary School District. Her affiliations include the Association of California School Administrators and the California Association of School Psychologists.



The groom is an administrator for Caltrans in Marysville. His education includes advanced studies in accounting and business management.

The bride wore an embroidered gown with peasant skirt, silky scarf and carriage hat. She carried a bouquet of wildflowers.




The maid of honor was the eldest daughter of the bride, Devon. The bridesmaid was the younger daughter of the bride, Darcy. The flower girls were Julia and Jessica Morton, age 11, of North San Juan.

The best man was Alan Michael of Nevada City. The groomsmen were sons of the bride and groom, Dylan and Nate.

Music was provided by pianist/vocalist Chris Moyer and acoustic guitarist Alan Michael.

Approximately 75 guests attended the ceremony at Sierra Presbyterian Church and the reception at the couple’s Nevada City home.

Special guests included Jane Johansen of Napa.

The guest book attendant was Mary Anne Landis of Ukiah.

The couple honeymooned in Mendocino.
